The Information We Collect

Registration Information:

Members register in order to conduct transactions through the Intrex India site. Through our online registration process, we collect a variety of information about the Members, which may include, among other things, name of the person registering, company name and type, street address, phone number, e-mail address etc. Intrex India may also request and collect other information regarding your identification, business and account from time to time.

We also collect information about each Member's listings and transactions. For example, we may collect, among other things, information such as the items sold or purchased, transaction size/volume, date of transaction, refunds and other information. We request and store information about the items listed on the website such as price, type of item, restrictions and other information. We also may collect Members' comments about other Members in our feedback area. We may maintain information regarding account balance and history.

We may collect and/or track information relating to Member disputes, fraud or suspected fraud. We may also collect other information regarding a Members' conduct and behavior on the website.

We may save information sent or posted to the website. For example, we may save messages or feedback left for other Members. We may collect correspondence, such as emails or letters, sent to us.

Financial Information:

As an e-commerce site, Intrex India requires company, and in some cases individual, financial information such as a credit card numbers, other credit information, Permanent Account Number and other information from Members. Intrex India may also request and collect other business and financial information from Members from time to time.

Polls, Ads, Surveys and Questionnaires:

We collect Members responses to online polls, ads, surveys, electronic newsletters and questionnaires.

Deletion of Information and Records:

While Intrex India may track and store information, Intrex India shall not be obligated to do so and may delete any information and records, in whole or in part, at any time.

The Way Intrex India Uses Information Collected

One way that we use information we collect is to facilitate transactions and communication between Members on the website. Information we collect is used to execute transactions. Members can see listings and associated comments of other Members. In order to facilitate transactions among all Members, our service allows you to access other Members' contact information. Further, as part of a transaction, we may automatically send the buyer and/or seller contact information of the other party. Recipients of such information are subject to restrictions contained in the Members Agreement and/or Exchange Trading Rules on how they use and disclose such information. Intrex India assumes no responsibility or liability for any misuse of such information by other members or third parties who have received the information .

Intrex India may use the information we collect to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze usage of the website, to improve our content and product offerings and to customize the website's content and layout.

We may also use information we collect in order to deliver information to other Members. We may use your information to deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as targeted banners, new services and promotions. You can remove yourself from receiving direct e-mail and direct mail by changing the appropriate option on the registration page and account page. We may use e-mail addresses, mailing addresses or phone numbers, to contact Members regarding administrative notices, customer service, billing, collections and the like.

We may use information we maintain about Members, and other information we obtain from current and past activities of Members on the Service, for fraud detection, credit risk management, dispute resolution, troubleshooting problems and enforcing our Members Agreement Exchange Trading Rules and other terms and conditions of the website.

Intrex India may disclose non-personally identifiable information in the aggregate to advertisers or other third parties for marketing and promotional or other purposes.

We may share Members' information, including financial information, with our partners, service providers and bankers. We work with such parties to, among other things, maintain certain levels of inventory or to offer services such as lines of credit, transporting, escrow and the like. Such third parties may use the information shared with them to provide these services and for marketing, advertising or other purposes, subject to their respective privacy policies.

Security

Intrex India is Verisign certified and deploys encrypted software tools/certificates from Verisign.

Intrex India does not collect any information stored on your local hard disk through cookies and respects your local security measures. Your Intrex India Account Information and Intrex India Profile are password-protected so that you and only you have access to this personal information. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Intrex India will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Intrex India cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

Updating and Correcting Information

After registration, a Member will be able to review and correct or update the following
Member information:

              E-mail address;
              Address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number(s), and fax number;               Password; and
              Credit card information, if supplied.

If any of the above information is changed, Intrex India may keep track of and maintain copies of prior information as well as the new information, but is not obligated to do so.

Other Sites and Third Parties

Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect. Intrex India does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites or third parties.

General

Intrex India cooperates with law enforcement, other governmental agencies and third parties to enforce laws, intellectual property and other rights. We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect us from legal liability or believe we need to do so to protect someone's safety.

This Privacy Policy is subject to the terms of the applicable Members Agreement and Exchange Trading Rules. Intrex India may change or modify this Privacy Policy by posting the changes or modifications to the website, and such changes or modifications will apply to data gathered in the future as well as data already gathered.
